Can You Pause Your Talkspace Subscription

Yes, you can pause your Talkspace subscription for 7 days at any time. This is a great option if you need to take a break from therapy or if you will be unable to use the service for a short period. Here are some important things to keep in mind when pausing your subscription:

  • You can only pause your subscription for 7-day periods.
  • You can pause your subscription as many times as you want.
  • If you want to unpause your account before the 7 days are up, you can do so from the Manage Subscription page.

It’s important to note that while pausing your subscription may be helpful in certain situations, it’s generally best to talk with your therapist about any concerns or issues you may be experiencing.

How do I pause my Talkspace subscription?

Talkspace clients can put their subscriptions on hold for 7 days at any time.

If you won’t be able to use Talkspace services for a short time, we suggest putting your subscription on hold.

Please note that if you get Talkspace services through your employee or medical plan benefits, pausing won’t change anything about your plan generally speaking.

If you have a time-based subscription, your billing date will be pushed back by the number of days your subscription is paused. This way, you won’t lose time with your provider and won’t be charged for the time you didn’t use.

Keep in mind that this pause will end on its own, so it’s a good idea to remind yourself to check back in if you need more time.

If you want to put your subscription on hold for more than 7 days, you can contact support@talkspace.com for help.

Follow the steps below to put a 7-day hold on your subscription:
